Pratt Police Department FAQs
How can I make a report?
To make a report call 620-672-5551 to speak with dispatch. They will determine the jurisdiction and nature of the call and either send a City of Pratt Police Officer or Pratt County Sheriff's Deputy to take the report.

How can I get a copy of a report?
To get a copy of a report you have to come into the station and make a request at the dispatch window. After you make the request the dispatcher will give you a report form to fill out. The charge for a basic report is 5$ and must be paid in cash. There is also a copy of this form including costs on the website under the documents section if you want to fill it out before you go to the station. Reports are available from 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday except on City of Pratt observed holidays.
How can I make an anonymous tip?
To make an anonymous tip you can use the contact us section of the website and put the name as anonymous. You can also call the dispatch center at 620-672-5551 and give them the information to pass on to the appropriate officer.
How can I get a VIN?
To get a VIN check done for the DMV you can come into the station and make a request at the dispatch window. VINs are available from 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday except on City of Pratt observed holidays.

Dispatch Center FAQs
How can I request a controlled burn?
To request a controlled burn you must call the dispatch center at 620-672-5551. They will ask you some information and check the wind speed. Controlled burns are not allowed if the wind speed is over 15mph. Once you are done with your controlled burn make sure to call back and inform dispatch.

How do I pay my ticket?
Send a check or money order payable to Pratt Municipal Court, 303 S. Oak St. Pratt, KS 67124. You may pay in person at the Municipal Court Clerk's office located in the Law Enforcement Center by cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card.
